Zero Gravity and Filling the Frame of Your Photoblog

There is something amazing about blogging and photography. It gives you a reason and a place to show off your work. It is also something you can do when you feel horrible and you’re laying in bed with a laptop on your…wait for it…. lap. I never thought the day would come that I would contact my employee assistance service, however I am today. Anyways, I did something to this photo that I really don’t want to do often at all. I added a filter/action over it and it gave a nostalgic feeling. I could achieve the same thing by playing with the curves RBG and masks, however this was a bit quicker. The one thing I seriously love about this photo is the fact that I filled the frame. It really made the difference compared to some other shots. With the compactness of the fair, you really need to do this sometimes or you risk having distracting elements in your photos. This ride is called Zero Gravity at the Western Fair, and I believe it was 4 coupons = 4 dollars. I give props to the people that get on it!
